What is Kopai?
Kopai is a multi-tenant AI chat platform. You can build custom AI agents with your own instructions, knowledge base, and tool integrations — then publish them to the marketplace for anyone to use.
Two ways to use Kopai

Key Concepts
Agent
An AI assistant you configure: give it a name, instructions (system prompt), a model, and optional tools like web search or a knowledge base. Agents can be private (your org only) or public (marketplace).
Organization
A shared workspace for a team. Agents are owned by organizations. You can be a member of multiple organizations with different roles.
Project
A focused workspace inside the app. Projects have their own conversation history and knowledge base, letting you keep separate contexts for different workstreams.
Credits
The currency for Kopai. 1 credit = $0.10 USD. Every message costs a small number of credits based on the AI model and any publisher add-on. You top up in advance.
Knowledge Base
A set of documents (PDFs, text files, URLs) you attach to an agent or project. The AI retrieves relevant passages from these documents to ground its answers.
Memory
Kopai uses Mem0 to store long-term memory scoped to your account. The AI recalls relevant facts from your past conversations automatically.
