Billing & Credits
Kopai uses a prepaid credit system. You buy credits in advance and they are consumed as you use the platform.
1 credit = $0.10 USD
How charges work
Every message you send costs a small number of credits. The cost depends on:
- Runtime infra — fixed per-model infrastructure cost (set by Kopai based on the AI model)
- Publisher add-on — optional per-message fee set by the agent creator (for public marketplace agents only)
The estimated total cost is shown on every marketplace agent card.
Free messages
Many agents offer a number of free messages before credits apply. Free messages are subsidized by Kopai and the agent creator. The free message count is shown on the agent card.
Your personal wallet
Your personal wallet holds credits you've purchased. View your balance and top up from Settings → Billing.
Topping up
Click Top Up in Settings → Billing. You'll be redirected to a Stripe checkout page. Available packs:

Organization wallet
The organization wallet is separate from your personal wallet. It is used for agent runtime costs when running agents within your organization context.
Go to Org → Wallet to manage the org wallet.
Earnings (for Creators)
When users chat with your public agents, your publisher add-on accrues to your organization wallet as earnings.

Payouts
Connect a Stripe account via Connect Stripe in the wallet page to enable payouts. Once connected, you can withdraw your available earnings to your bank account.

Transaction history
The wallet page shows a full transaction history: charges (messages sent), top-ups, and payouts, with timestamps and amounts.
