Group Chat

Group Chat lets you add multiple agents to a single conversation. An orchestrator coordinates the agents, routing your message to the right one — or asking multiple agents to collaborate.

Starting a group chat

From the Marketplace

  1. Click Marketplace in the sidebar.
  2. Click the Group Chat toggle button in the marketplace toolbar. The UI switches to multi-select mode.
  3. Click 2–5 agent cards to select them. Selected agents show a checkmark.
  4. Click Start group chat.

The group chat interface

How agents are identified

Each agent's messages are labelled with their name and a color-coded badge. This makes it easy to tell which agent said what.

Tool usage

When an agent uses a tool (web search, knowledge base, etc.), the tool call is shown inline within the message — collapsed by default, expandable to see the full input and output.

Agent delegation

If an agent hands off work to another agent (subagents feature), you'll see a delegation indicator showing what was passed.

Billing in group chat

Each agent in the group chat bills independently. If you send one message and three agents respond, you are charged three separate per-message costs (one per agent).

Sharing a group chat

Use the Share button to give others read-only access to a group chat. Recipients can view the conversation and Fork it to create their own editable copy.
